Originally from Northern California, Jackie trained in a wide variety of dance styles from a young age and began competing soon after. She moved to Southern California to continue her study of dance at California State University Long Beach and California State University Fullerton as a dance major. Jackie danced professionally at the Disneyland Resort as a parade performer for five years where she danced both on the stage and street as well as special televised events with artists such as Anika Noni Rose. She studied regularly at Edge Performing Arts Center and Debbie Allen Dance Academy with a variety of master teachers and choreographers while living in LA. She was assistant choreographer for Gary Goddard Entertainment contracted to choreograph a night time parade for Six Flags parks in New Jersey and New England. Her choreography can also be seen with Los Angeles based companies LA Unbound, Backhausdance, and many youth companies throughout California. Jackie is a certified Pilates instructor with a dance specialization from Body Arts and Science International. She loves sharing her passion for dance and Pilates with DPA and the Duvall community.
