Elianna’s passion for dance began at 3 years old when she twirled her way through her first ballet and tap class. She has enjoyed training in many styles including ballet, tap, musical theater, jazz, contemporary, African, lyrical, modern, and praise dance. At age 11, Elianna was invited to dance as a student guest in Katy Hagelin Dance Company’s modern production of George McDonald’s Phantasties in the role of a woodland fairy. At age 14, she began dancing at DPA in their Performance Division, and enjoyed performing various roles such as the Pauper in the production A Whole New World, Anna in Let It Go, Fauna in Maleficent’s Curse, the principle role in New Beginnings, Stepmother in The Glass Slipper, and Shere Khan in Mowgli’s Journey. In 2017, Elianna was accepted into Olympic Ballet Theatre’s trainee program, and was hired as a company dancer the following year. She is currently an instructor for Olympic Ballet School, and continues to dance professionally for their company. Last year, Elianna was invited to Bend, OR to perform as the Fairy Godmother in Central Oregon School of Ballet’s production of Cinderella, and had the pleasure of instructing their students in her time there. Along with dance, Elianna has also enjoyed performing in several musical theater productions with leading roles in Arabian Nights, Seussical, and Camp Hope. Elianna looks forward to passing on her passion for dance to young dancers as she teaches for DPA!
