Duvall Performing Arts is a true reflection of the great qualities that our Duvall community cherishes. Providing dance instruction for all levels and abilities from tiny tots and youth programs to their renowned Performance Division, DPA’s professional instructors provide quality education in a safe and healthy environment. As a grandparent of a dancer who participated form age three through high school, I see first hand how their programs build character, self-esteem, values and friendships that truly last a lifetime.
A highlight for our community is attending Broadway quality performances on stage at Cedarcrest High School, seeing DPA dancers perform during the annual Duvall Days Parade and at special events. While the tiny tots completely steal your heart, one of my greatest joys is watching dancers progress over the years and find their own talent for contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap or ballet. How blessed we are to have our youth and young adults participate in a wonderful healthy activity in a loving and caring environment.

Duvall Performing Arts provides a safe and positive environment for my daughter to learn & grow. She has learned how to work hard, collaborate with other adults and students, juggle school & chores while spending multiple hours at the studio 5-6 days a week, and has had amazing opportunities to learn from outside professionals and be a part of some fantastic performances. The owners have a clear vision and are so talented. They are continually striving to make the program stronger for the students, such as providing proper conditioning as dancers advance to higher levels in an effort to prevent injury and finding top notch instructors to provide high quality instruction, some of whom still perform professionally. I attended to last night Decades performance My favorites were MTv., the 50s, the showgirls. Amazing show, it was my first time watching these dancers perform and I can’t believe the coordination and perfection archived in only 3 month of practices. The combination of costumes ,lights and overall creativity played a great part as well. My first time knowing about this company and I won’t want to miss another show from now one. Awesome job.

Every class, every teacher has been fantastic. The performances are so well done and the spring performance is an incredible show for both the younger and performance division dancers. If you want your kids to learn proper technique and have a lot of fun while doing it, send them to DPA!

Very strong base of administrative , technical and artistic staff with varied dance expertise and many years of professional dance experience. I am so positively impressed by the close family-type dynamics of this academy: the older students and staff watch over the younger students and take a personal interest in their development not only as dancers but also as individuals. Contemporaries serve as mentors, encouragers and helpmates for each other as well as the younger students all under the loving tutelage of dedicated teachers and staff.

Starting our 9th year here… 3 girls who have all started at age 2 1/2 and still loving it! The instructors are professional with excellent teaching skills and provide a strong base of the basics while instilling a love of dance at the same time! As a parent, I REALLY appreciate the age appropriate dancing. My 8 year old’s hip-hop moves are fun to watch while her ballet, tap, and jazz moves are clean and improve greatly from year to year. Having grown up in a competitive dance studio myself, I am SO thankful for the family feel that these dancers share with one another. They’re bodies are being trained safely while their hearts are making lifelong friendships!
